Remy van Kesteren is a pioneering Dutch harpist and composer whose curiosity knows no bounds. Born and raised in Utrecht, he studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the renowned Conservatoire National SupĂ©rieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, winning top prizes at major international competitions. As artistic director of the Dutch Harp Festival he challenges audiences to hear the harp in new ways and collaborates with diverse artists from across the musical spectrum. On stage he combines his virtuosic classical technique with loop stations, effects pedals and his handmade analogue synth “The Analog Machine” to create immersive soundscapes that draw on minimalism, film music and electronics. His albums, including SHADOWS and An Alternative Soundtrack to Blade Runner, reveal a visionary musician who bridges classical tradition and contemporary innovation. We can’t wait to experience his boundary‑pushing performance live!
